Your Restaurant Review Posted: 11-2-2010 Himalayan Restaurant - Gurnee, IL It's hard to tell the difference between Indian and Nepali cuisines. They're very similar. This palace has an extensive menu but considers only a few choices to be Nepali. We tried a very nice Nepali Chicken Chowela (Boneless chicken marinated with garlic, ginger, and exotic Nepali spices) We also had Goat Vindaloo. (Goat cooked in Goan style tangy-hot-sauce) It was just right, not too spicy. Their lunch buffet is also good, but not as extensive as Saffron.
