Your Restaurant Review Posted: 6-2-2011 Real Urban Barbecue - Highland Park, IL It's in Port Clinton Square in downtown Highland Park, where Stashes Hot Dogs used to be. Urban BBQ was recently featured on a Channel 11 show called "Chicagos Best". They named it one of the five best BBQ places in the Chicago Area. The brisket is slow smoked (14 hours) and we consider it among the best we've ever had anywhere, including Texas, Kansas City and Memphis! Lots of different sides including Buttermilk Mashed potatoes, Cranberry Bread Pudding, and Flame Roasted Fuji Apples. It's well worth the drive to Highland Park. "Submitted By Resident"
